Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about your Bowling World experience.
How do I choose the right weight for a new bowling ball?
A general rule of thumb is that a ball should be approximately 10% of your body weight, up to the maximum of 16 pounds. However, professional bowlers often choose based on their physical strength and swing speed. If you are between weights, we recommend sizing up for better pin carry.
Do you offer custom drilling services?
Yes, we offer professional drilling services for all high-performance balls. You can either provide your specs during checkout or visit one of our physical pro-shop locations to get measured by an expert.
What is your return policy on bowling equipment?
We accept returns on unused, undrilled items within 30 days of purchase. Please note that once a bowling ball has been custom drilled, it is no longer eligible for return unless there is a confirmed manufacturer defect.
How long does shipping take for heavy items?
Standard shipping usually takes 3-5 business days. Because bowling balls and bags are heavy, we use specialized reinforced packaging to ensure they arrive safely without damage.
Are your bowling shoes true to size?
Most brands we carry, such as Dexter and Brunswick, run true to standard athletic shoe sizes. We provide a specific size chart on each product page to help you find the perfect fit for both right and left-handed bowlers.
Do you provide bulk discounts for leagues or teams?
Absolutely! We offer special pricing for league teams and bowling centers ordering 5 or more items. Please contact our team sales department for a personalized quote.
